LSSU Golf Places Eighth, Tenth in Weekend Invitationals

ALLENDALE, Mich.- The Lake State women's golf team travelled to Allendale to play in the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite hosted by Grand Valley University. The men travelled to South Haven, Michigan to play in the Wayne State Invitational.

The Lady Lakers finished in 10th place as Naomi Keyte led the team with a 164 (83-81) tying for 23rd, Taylor Simoneau finish tied for 28th with a score of 168 (85-82). Madison Whittett finished tied for 44th with a score of 171 (84-87), Alyshia Suleman scored a 182 (87-92) and tied for 62nd. Tatiana Hulan finished in 66th with a score of 183 (88-92).

The men finished in 8th place, Nick Oosterhof shot a career best score of 141 (71-70) placing third. Gavin MacIver tying for 20th with a score of 149 (74-75), Zander Park shot a 159 (77-82), tying 45th, Ryan Page also shot a 159 (79-80) tying for 45th. Finishing the lineup was Connor Kintz , scoring a 160 (78-82) tying for 48th.

The women travel to Findlay, Ohio next weekend (Oct. 8 & Oct. 9) to participate in the Findlay Invitational. The men have an off weekend as they prepare to play at TPC Michigan the following week (Oct. 14 & 15).
