Lakers finish 10th at GLIAC Golf Championship

MARQUETTE - The Lake Superior State men's golf team finished 10th at the 2009 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship held Saturday through Monday at Greywalls Golf Course in Marquette.
Sean Stubbs shot a 78-83-79-240 to tie for 35th and lead Lake Superior State. Brent Vizina (88-87-79-254) was 44th, followed by P.J. Dienes (84-89-82-255), who tied for 45th.
Sean Green (88-87-81-256) tied for 47th, and Bryan Clishe (90-91-90-271) was 50th.
Grand Valley State claimed the team title with 881 team strokes. The Lakers finished 20 strokes ahead of runner-up Findlay.
